THS Homecoming
The Troy High School Homecoming week is based on the theme “Trojans under the big top” with features of circuses and carnivals being utilized throughout the week. One day of Spirit Week was designated for students to dress like clowns.
The candidates are Addison Grable, Alyson Grable, Nicole Judd, Harper Whetstine, Hunter Engemann, Henry Geiger, Colton Luedke, and Caden Rosenberger. The crowning will be at 6:30 p.m., before the Friday night game, September 26, against Horton.
There are a number of Spirit Week activities in which the public can take part, including the annual bonfire, window washing, and powderpuff football game. A volleyball tournament will be held during the school day on Friday, September 26.
To end the Spirit Week activities, the pep rally will begin at 2:45 Friday in front of the court yard. The rally will feature a candidates’ activity, cheers, and the pep band, all following a parade to Main Street from the school. The public is encouraged to attend. The floats to be featured at the Main Street parade and pep rally are centering around the circus and carnival also.
