Mr. Jeremy Prudden Names TMS/THS Principal

USD 429, Troy Schools announces Jeremy Prudden will serve as the Troy Middle School/High School Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.  Mr. Prudden has been a teacher at Troy High School for the past fifteen years.  He has taught English and social studies.  Courses taught include World History, American History, and American Government, and all high school grade levels of the English classes.  Mr. Prudden has served as a coach for the middle school football and basketball teams as well as spending time with the high school football and baseball teams.  He has also served as the National Honor Society sponsor, student improvement team coordinator at the middle school and high school level, and has served on the building leadership team.  Mr. Prudden is passionate about civic engagement and community service for our students.  Mr. Prudden is well respected by his peers and students, having been selected Master Teacher of the Year twice during his tenure in the USD 429 district as well as Teacher of Influence. 

Mr. Prudden earned his undergraduate teaching degree from Missouri Western State University and his Masters of Science in School Leadership from Baker University.  The board of education is confident in their selection and is ready to work with Mr. Prudden to help continue to raise academic and behavior expectations and foster community and school spirit. 

Mr. Prudden will begin his official duties on August 1, 2024.
