TMS Basketball Recap - December 15th
The Troy Trojans Middle School Boys basketball team hosted the Doniphan West Mustangs on Monday, Dec. 11 and traveled to Seneca to play the Saints Peter and Paul Trojans on Thursday, December 14.
The B Team struggled against D-West, losing 5-37. Jace Johnson tallied eight rebounds. The A Team also lost to the Mustangs; 22-38. Riley Grable scored seven points, and Jack Nelson added six points.
Both teams had more success against Saints Peter and Paul but couldn’t secure the victories. The B Team lost 19-32, and the A Team dropped a heartbreaker 38-40. Malique Doss had five points and four rebounds for the B Team, and the A Team was led by Riley Grable’s nineteen points, Lane Hartman’s nine rebounds, and Gavin Woodruff’s five rebounds.
After the losses, the A Team record stands at 2-5, and the B team stands at 1-6.
The Trojans’ next game is January 4 against Onaga.
