Dear USD 429 Community:

Where has the time gone?   This school year is flying by and we are approaching the end of March.  The weather can’t decide if it is still winter or spring, but that is expected in March.  We do have some Fridays off for your children coming up in the next couple of weeks.  Hopefully they will be able to enjoy the outside air and warmer temperatures.

One visible improvement we are making is to the Troy Grade School playground.  With the help of PTO members, students, and the board of education, the playground will be a great addition.  Thanks to all who have a had a part in this project and process.  We do ask that the students stay off until the pour in play is done.

With spring comes many activities for the students and parents.  We pride ourself in our small school and small town values and we have many events coming up that will allow us to be together.  Please attend as many of those as possible. One of the more important events being the Spring Parent Teacher Conferences March 24th.  I look forward to seeing you there.
