Gerald "Fed" and Patricia Rosenberger Memorial Scholarship

Fed and Pat Rosenberger were avid sports fans and supported youth sports for many years in Brown and Doniphan Counties.

Fed and Pat grew up, met, and married in the White Cloud area and later made their home in Highland.

Fed loved playing basketball and baseball, hunting, and fishing. His love for sports and his competitive nature were passed down through three generations of his family. He loved throwing a fish fry for his friends and family, sharing his stories, giving coaching advice, or just simply enjoying the company.

Pat was a devoted wife who not only enjoyed watching sports but also valued the importance of a solid education.  She was an exceptional writer and loved to attend her grandchildren’s school plays and music concerts just as much as their athletic events.

Together they spent countless hours supporting their two children, six grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren who all attended schools in the area.  It was not uncommon for them travel to two towns a night to catch as many games as they could.  When their family wasn’t playing, they could frequently be found cheering on a local high school for the love of the kids and of the game.

This scholarship was made possible by their friends and family to honor their love of athletics, the many life lessons it could teach youth, and to continue to support kids who participate in extra-curricular activities.
