There’s No Place Like Homecoming
The Troy High School Homecoming week is based on the theme “There’s No Place Like Homecoming,” with features of the Wizard of Oz being utilized throughout the week. One day of Spirit Week, titled “Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!” is designated for students to dress like their favorite animal.

There are a number of Spirit Week activities in which the public can take part. Wednesday night, September 18, at 6:30pm, Troy High School girls will compete in the annual Powderpuff Game at the football field. The bonfire at the 4-H horse arena will be the same night at 8:00pm.

To end the Spirit Week activities, the pep rally will begin at 2:45pm Friday, September 20, in front of the court yard. The rally will feature a candidates’ activity, cheers, and the pep band, all following a parade to Main Street from the school. The public is encouraged to attend.
