Troy High School 2021 Homecoming Candidates

The Troy High School Homecoming week is based on the theme “Trojans Are the Stars!” with features related to Hollywood/Blockbuster Movies being accentuated throughout the week.

The candidates are Avery Euler, Reagen Hill, Paige Hinds, Abby Parks, Camden Anderson, Gavin Fuemmeler, Brayden Hill, and Griffin Weber. The crowning will be at 6:30 p.m., before the Friday night game, October 8, against Valley Heights.

There are a number of Spirit Week activities in which the public can take part, including a bonfire on Monday, October 4, at 8:00pm, and a window washing ceremony on Wednesday, October 6, from 5:30pm-6:30pm, followed by a Powder Puff flag football game on the high school football field at 7:00pm.

To end the Spirit Week activities, the pep rally will begin at 2:45pm Friday, October 8, west of the courthouse.  The rally will feature a candidates’ activity, cheers, and the pep band, all following a parade to Main Street from the school. The public is encouraged to attend.

The excitement comes to an end that evening with the crowning of the queen and king and the game itself, followed by the annual Homecoming dance.

Avery Euler is the daughter of Rick and Lori Euler. She has played volleyball, basketball, and softball for four years, and she has been involved in cheer for two years. She has also participated in the peer mentor program for four years and National Honors Society for two years. She has been her class’s Vice-President for four years. She plans to attend the University of Kansas to pursue a career in the medical field.

Reagen Hill is the daughter of Troy and Tiffany Hill. She has played basketball and softball for four years, and she was named all-state second team outfield last year for softball. She has been involved in National Honors Society for three years, Student Council, FFA, and the peer mentor program for two years, and volleyball for one year. She plans to attend Missouri Western State University to pursue a degree in nursing, focusing on pediatrics.

Paige Hinds is the daughter of Keith and Betsy Hinds. She has played volleyball and softball for four years. She has also been involved in cheer and National Honors Society for two years. She plans to go to college and major in Biology with the goal of becoming an anesthesiologist.

Abby Parks is the daughter of Chris and Julie Parks. She has played volleyball and basketball for four years, and softball for one year. She has been involved in cheer, Student Council (serving as Vice-President for one year), and T-Club for four years, and National Honors Society for two years. After high school, she wants to become a nurse practitioner or physical therapist.

Camden Anderson is the son of Curtis and Janel Anderson. He has played basketball and football for four years, and baseball for two years. He has been involved in National Honors Society and the peer mentor program for two years. He plans to attend the University of Kansas to get a degree in sports management.

Gavin Fuemmeler is the son of Rob and Kelly Fuemmeler. He has been involved in football and baseball, receiving all-league honors in baseball last year. He plans to continue to attend Atchison Technical Center to become an electrician.

Brayden Hill is the son of Troy and Tiffany Hill. He has played baseball for four years and basketball for two years. He has been involved in FFA for two years. He plans to continue to attend Atchison Technical Center to become an electrician.

Griffin Weber is the son of Jeff and Nikia Weber. He has played basketball and baseball for four years, and football for three years. He has been involved in cross country, Student Council, 4H (for which he has served as President), FFA, and the peer mentor program. He plans to attend the University of Kansas to pursue a career in sports medicine.
