TMS Football Recap - September 23 vs Centralia

The Troy Middle School Trojans football team hosted the Centralia Panthers on Thursday, September 23rd.

It was a physical game, both teams hitting hard and playing good, smart football. Konner Wolf (DT), in his first starting action of the season, helped clogged the middle for Troy’s defense. Henry Geiger (LB) played cleanup, tallying numerous tackles from his middle linebacker position. Although the Centralia running backs were big, Troy hit low and solid, allowing only six points.

Tucker Jarrett (RB) led the way for the Trojan offense, plowing his way through the Panthers’ defense during several tough runs. Colt Jensen (WR) set Troy up for a score when he outjumped three defenders for a long pass and catch.

Final score: Troy – 20, Centralia – 6. The Trojans improve their record to 4-0. They will travel to Axtell on Thursday, September 30th for 8-man action.
