Wellness Policy

Unified School District No. 429 Board of Education approved the Troy School's Wellness Policy at the May 2006 Board of Education Meeting.  The committee was formed in the spring of 2006 to draft a wellness policy to be used by USD 429.  This policy is to be used as a guideline and is designed to promote healthier food and beverages choices as well as overall healthy lifestyle choices for both students and staff.  Schools are obligated by federal and state law to have a wellness policy in place by the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year.
