The boys Troy Middle School Trojans basketball team kicked off the season by hosting the Centralia Panthers.

The C Team started the night was one half of action. Seth Judd, with nine points, and Christian Etherton, with eight points, led the Trojans to a 17-11 win. Brogan Morris added three rebounds.

The B Team was next. They came out strong in the first quarter but fizzled from there. The final score was 19-35 in favor of Centralia. Jayden Duncan, Preston Christenson, and Pierce Keller all contributed four points.

The A team finished the night with an exciting 23-22 victory over the Panthers. Trailing nearly the entire game, the Trojans kept fighting and took the lead with only seconds remaining on a lay-up from Preston Christenson. Jerrit Norris scored eight points and pulled down eight rebounds while Boden Benitz contributed seven points.

The Trojans will travel to Seneca to play Saints Peter and Paul before Thanksgiving break on November 19th.
