Half of the Troy High School Freshman class visited Eastside Apartments Tuesday, October 23rd, to help with leaf removal. Energized by a day in the sun, the students worked hard to do their part in helping the community. This act of service is part of the Troy Middle/High School Civic Engagement Initiative, in which each class is assigned a task to perform in the community. The goals of the program are to teach students the concepts of public service and self-fulfillment through helping others.
