The Troy Grade School Character trait for March was Flexibility.  Our career focus was Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, and our game piece was the Wheel Barrow.  The student council gave out the awards for March at the Character Assembly.  The Employees of the month were Timber Moenkhoff, Mara Kretzinger, Ripken Whetstine, Nicole Wissler, Caleb Kaufman, Adam Keys, Henry Geiger, Hunter Engemann, Sara Houghton, Seth Judd, and Andrew Barnett.  They each received a candy bar, and their pictures will hang on our Employees of the Month bulletin board through April.  Next, the Community Chest winners were announced.  They were Carson Harris, Adelyn Kostman, Kynnedi Luedke, Riley Grable, Zaydon Keller, Ty Horner, Abbey Wilson, Emily Huff, Kamryn Franken, Jason Collins, and Hayden Hegarty.

Makenzie Christensen, Eva Fuemmeler, and Aislynn Etherton got to draw a card to take a Chance, and Kynleigh Jolly, Myia Reno, and Gannon Bowe were the lucky winners of the Free Parking.  This entitled them to $20 of Trojanopoly money.  The student council then announced the character trait for April, and told a little about how we can achieve this trait.  The trait for April is having a strong Work Ethic.  Our career focus will be Manufacturing, Engineering, and Construction.  Our game piece is the ship.

As we are getting close to the end of the year, we are planning to end our Trojanopoly fun with a Career Day for grades K – 12 on May 2.  Anyone interested in sharing about their career with our students, please call the Troy School for more information.
