TGS Student Elections Held

Student Council Members pose for a picture as they prepare to give their campaign speeches.

Troy Grade School held the Student Council Elections on September 20.  Each member gave a campaign speech.  The 4-6 grades then voted for the candidates.   The results are as follows:  Reporters are Nicole Judd and Jaya Weishaar.  The Treasurer is Macy Grable, and the Secretary is Gracie GrableAubrey Ferris was elected Vice President and Seth Judd will be our President.  The other members then chose a class they would like to represent.  They are as follows: 

Mrs. Tharman (K) Makenzie Christenson, Mrs. Jenkins (K) Alllie Horner, Mrs Geiger (1st) Eva Fuemmeler, Mrs. Franken (2nd) Karlie Grable, Ms. Green (2nd) Alan Jeffrey, Mrs. Klaus (3rd) Andrew Barnett, Mrs. Grable (4th) Caden Rosenberger, Mrs. Hall (4th) Wyatt Wissler, Ms. Feek (5th) Allie Franken, Mrs. Engemann (6th) Ayla Rush, and Mr. Keller (6th) Brogan Morris

          All students K – 6 voted on their favorite things.  The results are as follows:  Cookies over Cupcakes,  Baseball was our favorite sport.  Drum was the winning instrument, while pepsi topped coke.  The Kansas City Chiefs came out on top.  Cookies and Cream was our favorite ice cream, and “The Good Dinosaur” won favorite Disney Movie.  Sponge Bob was the cartoon character, and we love to vacation at amusement parks.  Our favorite Dr. Seuss book was Green Eggs and Ham.  Everyone enjoyed getting a chance to vote.  We would like to thank the Doniphan County Clerk’s office for helping us with our voting booths and ballot box.  We really appreciate it!
