State Championship Football Team Recognized at State Capital

The State Championship Football Team was introduced and recognized on Tuesday, March 7th by John Eplee in front of the House of Representatives meeting.  Dr. Eplee read a summary of the season.  The 13 senior football players, senior manager Trey Jenkins, Coach Cash, and Coach Jasper were on the floor for the recognition.  Underclassman were seated in the gallery where they stood to be recognized.  The House members gave them a standing ovation and Dr. Eplee presented Coach Cash and Coach Jasper with certificates to commemorate the event.  The team also got to take a Dome tour and also speak with Senator Pyle.
