The Troy volleyball team started off their season Tuesday night at Pleasant Ridge. We have a total of 14 girls out for volleyball this season. We have 7 players on both Varsity and Junior Varsity. Only three of the Varsity players played at that level last year and only one is a senior. Although we don't have a lot of depth, we do have a lot of determination! The first games were against Doniphan West and we were defeated 10 to 25 and 4 to 25. Our first game against Pleasant Ridge started off with a bang when we were tied at 11. Pleasant Ridge pulled ahead and won 13 to 25 and then 2 to 25. We are looking forward to learning from each match ways that we can improve as a team. We will be playing at Doniphan West Thursday evening and at the Jeff. West Tourney on Saturday. Come and show some Trojan support!
